The property prices in Chennai remained stable in the last one month. Over the last 3 months, the MPI has seen an increase of 11.33% - it has moved from 1396 in August 2011 to 1554 in November 2011. As compared to last year, the Chennai Property Index in November 2011 has increased by a whopping 56.78%. Prices had dropped significantly in the second quarter of 2010 due to the economic slowdown.
